Why give a Diamond Promise Ring?

Why should you give her a diamond promise ring? Isn't your word good enough?
Well your word is good but in this day and age, a lot of us don't walk the talk. Too many words, not enough action.

A diamond promise ring will speak louder than any poem, heart felt sentiments or wishes you may try to convey.

Okay, we now know that a promise ring can only make your words mean that much more. To those not familiar with them you might be asking yourself Promise Ring; huh?
A promise ring is one that indicates a serious promise made to someone.
Generally, a girl will receive a promise ring from her boyfriend or lover to show that he would like to marry her but because of age or other circumstance eg. Financial, it isn't possible at that time.
This is different to a diamond engagement ring which indicates you are ready to marry you fiancé....even though a promise ring could also be followed by diamond engagement rings.
It may also be given to a lover to show your commitment to keeping your relationship monogamous without necessarily getting married....this could be tricky if you lady wants to get married so its advisable to do your homework before you give her that ring.

Promise Rings aren't all about romance, deeply committed friends can give a promise ring to show their love & loyalty to their friendship. Now don't get mad if your childhood friend whom you've been pals with & have gone through thin & thick with hasn't sprung a Diamond promise ring on you.
You could give them one instead & be the one they'll never forget!!

Strange as it might seem, you could also give yourself a promise ring; again you could be saying to yourself huh??
You could buy a promise ring to remind yourself to keep a major commitment to yourself e.g. I will abstain from Sex till marriage, I will keep you in my heart forever or I will return to you.

Other vows you can make are; "I love you, I will always be there for you, and my intention is to marry you one day.
Next time you want to make a deep promise you intend to keep, maybe a promise ring will be part & parcel of it.
