Yellow Diamonds are one of nature's miracles.
They are formed by the same process as other natural diamonds which involves intense heat and pressure deep in the earth....this causes carbon to crystallize forming diamonds.
The intense Yellow color is caused by the presence of Nitrogen which can give yellow or orangish shades to a diamond.

When dealing with "Off White" diamonds (those with a yellow tinge) vs White diamonds, the white diamonds are more valuable than the off white ones.
However, fancy yellows are rare, quite attractive and expensive.

They are mined mainly in South America, Africa and Australia.
The Argyle Mine is one of the most famous mines to produce Yellow Fancies.

The difference between fancy Yellows and 'K-M' coloured diamonds which are of a lower grade is the color saturation; this is the depth of color in the diamond.
Canary Yellow is one of the prized shades of Yellow fancies.

The Incomparable is the largest Fancy Yellow in the world. It is a deep brownish yellow & it is the third largest diamond in the world, weighing 407.48 carats.....and is also one of the world's largest internally flawless diamond.
It was originally discovered in the town of Mbuji Mayi in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC)
